Road paver from above

EAP has had a very busy month. We had the opportunity to film the new Mandarin Oriental being built in Hawaii and film RC cars for Redcat Racing. We also obtained our Operation Over People waiver, making us the only drone company in AZ with this capability.

We’re so thankful for your continued support of Extreme Aerial Productions, especially during these unprecedented times.

New Construction Sizzle Reel

Our new construction sizzle reel is finished and we couldn’t be prouder of the results. Thank you so much to everyone featured who allowed us to showcase who they are and the amazing work they do.

Mandarin Oriental in Hawaii

Filming at the Mandarin Oriental in Hawaii

We often get asked if we travel for projects and the answer is a definite ‘yes!’. This month we were asked to do a complex project to help pre-sale residences at the yet-to-be-built Mandarian Oriental Hotel in Waikiki. It involved 38 floors of super challenging drone work but the results were spectacular.

REDCAT Racing Monster Trucks

Redcat Racing

Redcat Racing, which produces extremely durable RC cars, had us film the product launches of two of their new products: The KAIJU and The Wendigo. You can check out the videos here- but be warned! You’ll definitely want to buy one after watching.

Maryland Blasting Shoot with Orica

Maryland Blasting Shoot

EAP had the chance to shoot drone video of Orica, a blasting systems and commercial explosives service provider.  I had the opportunity to personally fly, film, and do sound quality control for the video, with my editing team making the end result look incredible. It’s great to hear how drone technology has helped Orica save money and keep their engineers safe. They love using an RTK drone with AeroPoint and a full PPK set-up, and it’s easy to see why.

Scottsdazzle Holiday Sing-Along and Tree Lighting

Christmas Night Shoots

Want to see something that’ll lift your spirits? Watch our video footage of the Scottsdazzle Holiday Sing-Along and Tree Lighting here, or the Christmas lights at the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park here. We think the gorgeous videos and Christmas displays show that Arizona is just as beautiful in the winter as any snow-covered scenery.

EAP Obtains its Operation Over People Waiver

We are proud to say that we are one of 48 companies in the country, and currently the only one in AZ, to obtain an Operation Over People waiver. Until now, drones that flew over sporting events, race days, or stadiums were operating illegally and endangering the attendees and participants. Now, with our waiver and live broadcasting, our free flying drones and tethered aircraft can make your event even more immersive and safe.

EAP in the News

We’ve had great coverage in some big outlets this month, including sUAS News, DroneZon, and AZ Big Media. Check out my articles on the top skills and credentials you should have when applying to a drone job, my advice for building a successful business, and how EAP is celebrating more than 9,000 flights in 2020.
